Attending the Financial Planning Association of Australia’s annual congress in late November of 2022 was a joy. It was great to connect with former colleagues in person again.
Good on the FPA for holding a session focused on advising clients with disabilities, particularly those with cognitive impairment.
The session highlighted how difficult it can be for families to navigate complex systems - medical, legal and insurance, let alone Centrelink and the NDIS.
Advisers are well placed to help not only with individual clients but with advocacy for policy reform. Well done FPA.
